The Sky Studios in London hosted the grand finals of the FIFA Interactive Club World Cup this past weekend, and as with all competitions, there could only be one winner, which was Brøndby IF's Marcus 'Expectsporting' Jørgensen.
To start off with, there were four tournament groups to start off with, split evenly between PlayStation and Xbox, with six players in each group playing five matches to qualify for the next round. Those lucky enough to qualify included NYC_Chris, representing New York City FC and PSG's Aggie.
The knockout stage then followed a two-legged match format, and this saw some shocks, as NYC_Chris defeated Dani, representing Ajax, and Expectsporting produced a phenomenal display against PSG's Aggie to get to the divisional final.
Expectsporting then faced Olympique Lyonnais's Rafsou in the grand final, with $10,000 USD up for grabs, and although the tide was in Rafsou's favour to start with, Expectsporting found his feet and smashed in a number of goals to win 8-5 on aggregate.
Can Expectsporting go on to win a lot more for his trophy cabinet?
