Game Critics Awards: Super Mario Odyssey è stato il migliore dell'E3

E anche quest'anno sono stati annunciati i vincitori dei Game Critics Awards successivi all'E3, e Mario si è rivelato il grande trionfatore di questa edizione, facendo incetta di ben due premi importanti. Super Mario Odyssey, infatti, è stato proclamato il Miglior Gioco dello Show (conquistando anche il premio come miglior gioco console e miglio action-adventure), mentre Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle si è aggiudicato il premio per il gioco più originale. Xbox One X si è invece portato a casa il premio come miglior hardware/periferical, mentre Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus come Miglior gioco action. Destiny 2 ha invece vinto il premio di Miglior gioco PC (era giocabile su PC allo show), e Nintendo si è portata a casa un altro premio con Metroid: Samus Returns (miglior gioco portatile).
