Lost Champions League rights won't impact PES League

We recently reported that Konami had lost the license for UEFA's Champions League competition, and questions were raised over the future not only of the European competition, but also Pro Evolution Soccer's esports competitions, although it turns out we don't have anything to worry about.

The Esports Observer reached out to Konami and enquired about the game's PES League competition, with a spokesperson saying that the PES League is unaffected by these changes, and that the finals are still coming this summer.
