Complexity CEO Jason Lake has confirmed the departure of Rifler Owen "oBo" Schlatter. The young player was out competing with the team in Europe but recently informed members that he would be leaving and caught a flight back to his home in the US. The original plan was for oBo to remain in Europe until the conclusion of ESL Pro League Season 12, but instead, he ended up returning home 24-hours after giving notice.

Lake showed no ill-feelings towards the player in a short YouTube video and stated: "I want to note; there was no team drama, or fights, or arguments - this was a decision that Owen needed to make for himself. I would like to sincerely thank Owen for his hard work and for enduring really challenging circumstances during a difficult year." The CEO also noted that Complexity would be assisting oBo in finding a new North American team.
