HyperX has been named as one of the global founding partners for the Valorant Champions Tour, in a deal that is set to make the peripherals manufacturer the official supplier of gaming keyboards, mice, and mouse pads for the global competition, over a multiple year deal.

"We're excited to welcome our newest partner to the VCT," said Naz Aletaha, Head of Global Esports Partnerships and Business Development at Riot Games in a press release. "HyperX joins us as the Official Keyboard, Mouse, and Mousepad Partner of the VALORANT Champions Tour. We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome them and have their amazing products supporting our event in Reykjavik and beyond."

The Valorant Champions Tour is soon heading into its second major of the 2021 season, at an event set to bring the best teams in the world together to compete in Reykjavik, Iceland. The event itself will begin in late May, on the 24th, and will run until May 30.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Riot Games' VALORANT Champions Tour," said Jessany Van't Hoff, Head of Global Gaming Partnerships, HyperX. "In almost two years, VALORANT has amassed a huge community and has now evolved into a global esports tournament. For over a decade, HyperX has sponsored pro esports teams and tournaments. We are excited to continue this tradition and ensure all players play better with HyperX."

The financials of the deal have not been disclosed.
