Following being defeated in the Worlds 2021 Play-In, Unicorns of Love has released its entire roster

The League of Legends team is making some massive changes going into 2022.

The League of Legends World Championship 2021 Play-In stage concluded recently, seeing a bunch of teams heading home, before ever getting to make it into the main group stage. One of those teams was the Unicorns of Love, who failed to make it out of the group stages for the Play-In event after going 1-3, and this result has even led to the organisation making some massive changes to its active roster.

Revealed over Twitter, the team has released its entire active roster, in the hopes that they can find new homes where they can find more success. The statement accompanying the announcement said, "We accept the fact that players need constant development and, winning everything in the LCL for 3 years, it's time to move to the next level - to try yourself in Europe - in EU Masters and in LEC."

The statement continued, "Therefore, Unicorns of Love is letting the players step out of their contracts. They are becoming free agents and are ready to receive proposals from any organizations outside the CIS."

Despite releasing its team, Unicorns of Love does intend to continue its winning streak in the LCL, meaning we can probably expect signing announcements sooner rather than later.
