Activision ha annunciato il nuovo nome per il first person shooter basato su The Walking Dead. Al fine di non confondere il gioco con l'omonima serie di titoli adventure, il gioco si chiamerà The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
Il gioco segue le vicende dei fratelli Merle e Daryl Dixon durante l'epidemia zombie che conduce agli eventi narrati nel fumetto e nella serie TV. Il gioco è atteso per il 2013 su PC, PS3 e Xbox 360.
