The winter season of the Hearthstone Championship Tour had a sunny end in the Bahamas, but Blizzard has announced that the Spring Championship will be headed to a very different location from July 7 to 9, and that is Shanghai, China (or, more specifically, the Silver Hall of the Expo Center in Shanghai, China).
The top four players from the Spring Playoff of each region will qualify for a spot in this Spring Championship, where 16 players will fight in a dual tournament group stage. From there, the top two players from each group will advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket, where they'll compete for their share of the $250,000 USD prize pool.
You can find out more about the Spring Playoffs here, but May 20 to 21 will see Europe's take place, with that of the Americas occurring from May 27 to 28, and Asia's between June 3 and 4. Is Shanghai a good choice of location?
