The esports organisation, Cloud9 has welcomed its first official cryptocurrency partner, in the crypto platform, Blockchain.com. Revealed in a blog post, this partnership, which is regarded as a "multi-year partnership", will see Blockchain.com's logo appearing on all of C9's sanctioned team jerseys and on its digital channels, and will include various activations revolving around engaging and educating fans about cryptocurrency and investing.
"Blockchain.com is the perfect partner for the Cloud9 team," said C9's CEO and co-founder, Jack Etienne. "Our team takes great pride in working closely with the most noteworthy leaders across industries and the time was ripe to broaden our network to the cryptocurrency world. Blockchain.com's support will ensure consumers have greater access to, and understanding of, the future of finance through cryptocurrency."
While there is no mention of the financials of the deal, we are told that Blockchain.com will officially be regarded as C9's cryptocurrency exchange and wallet partner.
