After being part of the Astralis organisation for over three years, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz has left the organisation, and has instead signed with Ninjas in Pyjamas. The announcement came over Twitter, where it was revealed that the veteran Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player would be heading elsewhere, despite being a part of the Astralis team that won countless S-tier majors during his time with them.

Upon the decision becoming public, Dev1ce released a statement over Instagram that said, "I'm sure most of you have now seen that as from today I am no longer a member of the @astralis team." He continued further by explaining his decision to join NIP, saying, "Teaming up with @nipgaming might come as a surprise for a lot of you, but for me it has been a natural transition given that Sweden has been my home for a while now. I'm really excited for the new project and my biggest wish is for you guys to understand, and continue supporting me on my next mission in this game that we all love."

With Flashpoint Season 3 set to begin on May 10, it won't be long until we get to see Dev1ce playing with his new team.
