The Hearthstone World Championship is taking place at BlizzCon this weekend, and recent data has revealed that the card game is incredibly popular on Twitch and with players alike, so much so in fact that it is Activision Blizzard's most watched game.
The average concurrent viewer count for the game is 47,000 on Twitch, and Blizzard's card game also offers over 20 million monthly active users. What may come as a surprise for some is that it is more popular than Overwatch, which has a viewer count of over 21,000 and 8 million monthly active users.
Combined, Activision Blizzard's games are the most watched via online streaming, making up 28.9% of the viewership. In September this year, for instance, 104 million hours were spent watching Activision Blizzard content, which was an increase of 63% from September 2015.
