Gen.G has dropped its coaches for its LCK roster, an announcement over Twitter details. The decision to part ways with coaches, Yeo "TrAce" Chang-dong and Im "Tom" Jae-hyeon comes as quite a surprise, considering the team's successful season: albeit a less than desirable Worlds result.
The statement accompanying the announcement reads: "Today we are here to announce the departure of Gen.G LoL team coaches 'TrAce' Chang-dong Yeo and "Tom" Jae-hyeon Im."
"Both Coach TrAce and Coach Tom have served as reliable mentor figures for the players throughout their respective tenures. We would like to thank Coach TrAce and Coach Tom for all they have done for the team and wish them all the best, wherever they may go."
