Questo cambio di generazione in arrivo differisce in parte da quelli precedenti, poiché ci sono pochissimi giochi che in realtà sono fatti su misura per Playstation 5 e Xbox Series S/X, quanto meno in questa primissima fase. E quello che in realtà arriverà sulla prossima generazione è realizzato in modo che funzioni anche per le console attuali, tra cui progetti importanti come Halo: Infinite e Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Tuttavia ci sono un sacco di giochi retro-compatibili e giochi aggiornati dalle console attuali. Ma quali titoli verranno aggiornati completamente? Ora Microsoft ha dato una risposta in un post su Xbox Wire con un elenco di 31 titoli che verranno aggiornati per Xbox Series S/X e quali di questi supportano o Smart Delivery (acquisti il gioco solo una volta e ottieni la versione next gen in relazione alla tua piattaforma scelta tra PC, Xbox One e Xbox Series S/X).
